Hypnosis Instead of Ecstacy

Been there . . . done that . . . a LOT . . . Adam Eason reports on a study that showed that people who have taken Ecstacy can learn to mimic the effects of the drug through hypnosis . . . Hypnosis Instead of Ecstacy! . . . Adam mentions seeing a study on Parkinson patients whose brain imaging showed that once they’d been exposed to a drug and then given a placebo the brain still mimiced the effect of the drug . . . if you search the hypnosis in the news section here you will find references to similar studies on morphine and more . . . been there, done that, a WHOLE LOT . . . mentioned it in the recent Speed Hypnosis class and some of the guys jumped all over it with over-enthusiastic excitement. One demo later and you have a happy camper in hand. I use this sort of process when working with drug users (mostly marijuana) and you can even create drug experiences . . . imaginary new drugs for folks who’ve never taken drugs but who can imagine the exeperience and more. I’ve created a few "new" hypnodrugs in my time. A couple of Phillips Rules regarding Experiential Trance . . . If the body has experienced it, then the mind can create it . . . if the mind can imagine it, then the it can ensure that the body can experience it as if it is real, experientially imagined experiences are experienced in a way that becomes valuably indistinguishable from the real experience. Now . . . think of a drug you would like to take . . . completely imaginary . . . think of what effects you would want to experience when this drug takes you into the zone that is HIGH . . . I mean ANYTHING . . . increased sexual staying power? . . . heightened sexual sensation? . . . lower inhibitions? . . . increased concentration? . . . better accuracy? . . . time dilation? . . . transformation into an animal? (did that one this morning) . . . hallucinations? . . . lower intelligence? . . . higher energy, more confidence, and accelerated sense of time? Now . . . once you’ve got your experiential drug cocktail in mind . . . breathe in, breathe out, close your eyes, relax, and let your hypnochemist guide you into an experience you will never forget . . . one with no addictive qualities, no side effects, no hangover, and an ability to immediately leave or go back to at whim.

Sound too good to be true? It isn’t. It is exactly what you can do with an activated experiential imagination. See, here’s another Phillips Rule of Experiential Trance . . . sometimes, an experientially imagined experience is so much better than the so-called "real" deal.

All the best,
Brian
