As many regular readers know, I have an interest in adapting traditional or ancient trance methods into contemporary hypnotic technique. One area I am particularly interested in is that of metaphysical trancework. Here’s a nice process that works very well in terms of shifting underlying drivers for behaviors and creating new driver states for positive change. It is based in part upon sigil work but also upon ideomotor processes with energetic themes.

Sigils are magickal symbols often used as key components in wards, guard spells, curses, or other magickal workings. The Sigil Hypnosis process is one that takes this imaginative concept into the realm of intensified imaginative involvement and the focused experiential mind. Obviously, you can very likely imagine a number of contexts in which someone could use this sort of setup. Certainly as a comedy or recreational process it has many applications.
The following is another approach to using Sigils with hypnosis based upon chaos magick . . . it is not the same as the previous approach.
