In this brief clip, we see a very simple hypnosis induction demonstrated . . . one that regular readers know I also enjoy as I’ve demonstrated it a number of times on this site . . . the pendulum hypnosis induction is a particular type of eye fixation hypnosis induction which relies upon the combination of suggestion with eye fatigue. The initial positioning of the pendulum above eye level is important as this eye position is one that anthropologists and ethnographers have found to have been commonly used by many cultures throughout history as being conducive to entering a trance state. In my own courses, I go into this phenomena and illustrate it with a number of example processes.
Traditionally, this style of induction is usually assumed to take a long time, at least thirty minutes or longer, but as you see here and as I demonstrate in my Speed Hypnosis courses, it can actually be very brief and extremely effective.
I will point out that this particular clip is a vanilla bit taken from an erotic hypnosis video (in the actual video, the volunteer trance partner eventually disrobes and experiences a number of hypnotic phenomena – including hypnotic orgasms and more.
