LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: The FREE Tranceworkshops are taught in English. Due to the special nature of the free workshops and the pacing of the instruction, we do not provide Chinese interpretation for the presentation of free Tranceworkshops. For our professional non-experimental courses, we do offer interpretation but cannot do so for the free sessions. On July 3, Brian David Phillips will be conducting a three-hour workshop on MUSIC OF THE MIND: Trance-Based Methods to Enhance Musical Creativity in Taipei.

The Mind Music workshop will teach participants a number of processes for directly accessing the flow and the creative spark for musical composition or creativity. A number of techniques to accelerate the building of musical competence will also be demonstrated.

Anyone is welcome – if you are a musician, feel free to bring your instrument (well, within reason . . . no one should cart around a grand piano or a drum set – we have a perfectly serviceable keyboard that will stand in its stead and you might consider bringing a small hand drum instead of that trap set).

This is a hands-on workshop. Brian David Phillips (master hypnotist) will demonstrate the mental processes and then participants will practice with one another so come prepared to learn by doing.

Previous knowledge of Waking Hypnosis or Focused Trance or experiential trance or hypnosis is not required (do feel free to browse our online shop athttp://www.briandavidphillips.net/store for appropriate DVD training materials if you would like to review materials beforehand, although it is certainly not necessary).

Video and Recording Policies:

Please Note, participants may not use recording devices during the workshop. However, as is typical, the instructor will record the training. Participation in this seminar is considered explicit consent to be recorded on video, audio, and photograph. You must participate, wallflowers need not register.

Videos are used for archival purposes as well as for possible training products. Participants wishing their own copies of any resulting DVD programs will be given the opportunity to purchase pre-release copies at a substantial savings from the retail price.
