Do not think I'm not unhappy about the mess of things the ol' server caused today . . . nope . . . that would not quite describe things . . . I was livid for a good three solid hours as I played tag with service folks trying to get the blasted server back up and online . . . with emails coming in from folks customers who were upset that we had "taken down" our site just as they were hoping to get their orders in under the deadline with no pages or buttons to click to get 'em in and processed.
Grrrr and double f'ing grrrrrrrrr!
We apologize for the inconvenience and difficulties a number of folks have experienced as they've tried to make it through to the special hidden secret webpage to order the special items available via the Valentine Special only to get hit with broken URLs and 404 messages. Even the new podcast webpage was down as were most of my other webpages (and I do have more sites than a non-cyborg human should reasonably have).
I am so sorry . . . it looks like the 99.99% uptime guarantee for our network provider where we host our http://www.eroticatrance.com webpages is true, it's just that 0.01% when it might be down happens to be when we're running a special program that is extremely time sensitive. Grrrrrr.
So . . . to make up for the inconvenience, we will extend the deadline to order either the Eroticatrance DVD set or the Ultimate Ecstasy Pleasure Hypnosis DVD package a few days and we'll sweeten the pot a bit to make up for any hard feelings . . . so, we will not limit the number of pleasure packages ordered within the extended period and we will add a special for the Ideomotor Hypnosis DVD set as well and throw in a free copy of the Gentle Speed Hypnosis DVD to anyone who orders the Ideomotor Hypnosis DVDs plus either the Eroticatrance DVD set or the Ultimate Pleasure Hypnosis package (if you've already ordered one of those sets, then your package was shipped but if you order the Ideomotor DVD set now, we'll still throw in the Gentle Speed Hypnosis DVD set gratis).
I've emailed the folks who contacted me via email . . . both those who were distressed and those who were obviously and rightfully more than a bit pissed off about the situation. However, I know there are others who did not contact us so this post goes to the blog and tweets and facebooks the news that we're making an effort to make things right . . . although the only other communication about this goes to the Eroticatrance Newsletter and that's the one with the actual deadline dates and the secret URL to the actual specials page.
Once again, we're very very sorry about the server crash and so we will extend the deadline a few days . . . however, there will be no further information on this special posted to public sites . . . only free Eroticatrance Newsletter subscribers - http://www.eroticatrance.com - will receive any further information on the new deadline or special deal contents beyond the public announcement at https://briandavidphillips.net/2010/01/supercharge-your-valentine-experience.html which is no longer currently accurate anyway.
