Everyone else and his dog is saying "Happy New Year" so it’s my turn . . . except, I will say "HAPPY HYPNOTIC NEW YEAR!"

The end of the year started off a bit off, I had surgery on Christmas Eve to remove a small benign tumor (got the biopsy report on New Year’s Eve).  It was an outpatient procedure and went very well.  Had my stitches out New Year’s Eve and while it’s protective strips over the wound for the next couple months, all is going well and that’s a very good thing indeed.

Since Christmas, the Phillips Family has actually been playing video games together, all three of us on different instruments for Guitar Hero World Tour.  Lorraine picked up a microphone stand so that Kaye can sing while playing a musical instrument which has the added benefit of giving Kaye some practice with English reading and singing (who woulda thunk it, Guitar Hero as English Tutor, the folks who do all those high fallutin’ language pronunciation webpages really need to look into musical modules).

My New Year looks to be busy, especially the first few months.  We’ve had to adjust the schedule a number of times, the downside of working with event partners who have floating schedules but things look settled now and Lorraine’s taking student bookings for our solo courses and appropriate persons are doing so for the partnership packages.
