Nude Photo Teacher to Sue Government over Firing

Lynne Tziolas was fired for appearing semi-nude in a sealed section of a woman’s magazine related to a feature on couples and their sex lives (the photo was with her husband – as far as I can tell there were no naughty bits exposed as those were covered up).

Tziolas is a teacher in Sydney and was fired because of the photo.

She appealed and after a fight the governmental department that fired her offered her a job back . . . not the one she originally had – they said she could work at a school over an hour away from her home and even offered a job in a special needs school that she isn’t qualified to teach at.

She is fed up, stressed out, and now suing the government for firing her in the first place and then making it difficult to actually work when they finally reversed that decision.

She has every right to be ticked off.  The photo was not pornographic and it was none of the school’s business as it was perfectly legal and had nothing to do with her job performance.

See here for the story and the photo.

All the best,
Brian
