I didn’t even know there had been a tornado in my old stomping grounds until I checked my email and there was a series of photos from my sister showing some of the damage, extensive, over 80% of the buildings in the town are damaged, a good number are pretty much gone.  See here and here.

There’s a shelter in my home town, Abilene, for the displaced folks.  We grew up a stone’s throw away.
