Well . . . Merry Christmas everyone . . . it’s Christmas Eve and true to her tradition of the last six years, Kaye is hosting a Christmas Party for her friends . . . so we’ve got a house full of screaming teenage girls agest twelve through thirteen.
Kaye usually hosts sleepovers and parties for certain regular events . . . Halloween, Christmas, and her birthday are the three major ones.
It means we’ve a houseload of noise but everyone has a wonderful time so it’s all worth it.
Tomorrow . . . Christmas day is a school day and a work day (for family and friends back home, Taiwan ain’t America) . . . so we aren’t hosting a sleepover this time around as the girls will be shuffled out the door around nine-ish (they started trickling in around one so it’s an all-day thingie in any case).
To family and friends . . . Merry Christmas . . . regardless of your personal religious beliefs, it’s okay to celebrate Christmas as it’s become pretty much a secular holiday for those who need it to be.
