Should teachers be free to paint with their butts in their free time? . . .
. . . yes

A high school teacher has been suspended because he paints with his butt . . . in his free time . . . as part of his art. He does not mix his teaching with his private avocation nor does he encourage students to do so nor does he even tell them about the mere possibility of what he does. He is evidently a good teacher and his butt paintings do sell. However, the school has suspended him . . . Chesterfield suspends teacher who creates art with his buttocks . . . just because someone’s a teacher should not stop them from having the freedom to a private life nor the freedom to live and express themselves in their out-of-school life. This guy was suspended because “teachers should be role models” . . . evidently his teaching and his behavior at school is not in question. I would wonder what the divorce rate – based upon extramarital affairs – is for his colleagues or the board or how many folks in that community have been arrested for drunk driving or speeding or how many smoke . . . it’s all relative. I say, let him paint with his butt . . . it’s not like he’s trying to force anyone else to go to the webpage or buy his paintings and he does do a good job within the context of his professionalism in the classroom.

Once again . . . sheesh.
