Please bear with me for a few days . . . Life of Brian posts and emails and internet life will be slowed down megatyme for the next few days as I wait for my computer to come back from the elf computer workshop where a recent nasty behavior is hopefully getting tracked down and corrected. I am using my webserver machine for email as a stop gap but all my archives and stuff and addresses and stuff are on the wounded absent machine . . . and . . . the university has cleverly installed a mailgate program that has an all Chinese interface that looks like complete gibberish on this machine so I can’t even get that stuff either so my email is down to a trickle . . . I am getting stuff but others are being trapped by the evil that is the system. User friendly just isn’t all that friendly anymore. Patience. – Brian
