Walkabout Trance Street Hypnosis . . .

. . . Smirnoff Street Party with ICRT

As regular Life of Brian readers know, I performed Walkabout Trance style Street Hypnosis at the 100 days of Summer Kick Off Party ~ The Smirnoff Street Party as a street performer for the event sponsored by ICRT.

I was moving through the crowd doing quick trance effects with street hypnosis and waking suggestion.

  • DATE: Saturday, June 17th
  • PLACE: Shuang Cheng Street (北市中山區雙城街及農安街交叉口) in Taipei
  • TIME: 5:30-7:30 – the actual event lasted longer, 17:30-10:30 pm (I was moving through the crowd performing street hypnosis from 5:30 to 7:30, the time scheduled for me by ICRT, most folks who came later were there for the big bands)

The entire event was free admission for all and in addition to the street performers and other entertainment there were live bands, including China Blue and Coach. While Smirnoff was the sponsor of the event, I was there through the by way of the folks at ICRT.

It was a LOT of fun!

The photos from the event are now online here. It was tons of fun. Lorraine Phillips (my wife) took photos and videos but the videos have way too much background loudness to be useful so the photos are mostly framegrabs from the video. Grainy and lossy quality but you get the idea.

The original post about he event is here and the followup experience post is here.

Because certain folks have been asking for it . . . here it is . . . my Hypno Hat. . .

I love my silly Hypno Hat. Yes, that is my famous "Hypno Hat" (I put the photo up for David).  We wanted folks to know what we were on about so I made up some name tags with my Eye of Experiential Trance logo and the English and Chinese words for "Hypnosis" on ’em (purple tags, of course) and put one on my hat, one on my chest, and one on my bag while Lorraine wore one on her arm.  Originally, Lorraine suggested I wear one of our costume Wizard hats but I opted for my Aussie hat as I really like that Australian Outback leather hat.  Thw Wizard hat would work perfectly for other venues though, but I love my Aussie hat and so it’s my official Hypno Hat . . . for now.

So, slung over my shoulder and at my side is my "Hypno Bag of Tricks" which has several pendulums, tons of "pleasure stones," a couple "Fairy Dragon Eggs," a "crystal hypno wand," a "hypno voodoo doll," a couple "hypnotic eye rings," and a slew of other hypnotic toys which aren’t required for anything but sure are a lot of fun . . . some of which I was not able to use at the street thing but I will be using on my July 1st Hypnosis Show at The Farmhouse in Taipei.

Of course, we’re also looking forward to doing more street hypnosis and walkabout trance at the Taipei eXperimental Hypnosis Workshop’s upcoming Walkabout Trance Street Hypnosis thingie on July 9 too! Busy, busy, hypno-busy.

All the best,
Brian
