dual CCD . . . twin lens digital camera . . .
. . . but not 3D, yet

Kodak unveils the “world’s first dual lens digital camera” . . . Kodak EasyShare V570, dual CCD . . . so, is a fully featured stereodigicam for digital 3D photography so far off? This model is not 3D but Kodak did manufacture one of the most popular of the film stereocameras in the 1950s and certainly a stereocamera should be easier – and cheaper – to manufacture than the V570 which has multiple focal lengths. Someone in digicam world needs to get on the stick and get a solid workable stereodigicam out now, whoever is first to bring one to market gets to set the standards.
