Okay, this is either very funny or very sad . . . Phone Sex for Nerds . . . while watching this, I realized I may just be in the target market and I also realized that the writers may be referencing some great literature and film but they just don’t know it the way True Belivers would know it. Saving throws are made with a twenty-sided die, not a twelve-sider and no one “casts” as saving throw, we “throw” saving throws as in “throw a save” or somesuch. Watch out for how you pronounce Vulcan rutting season. The references were funny, even if half of ’em were “wrong.” Or, maybe that’s the point. Maybe they got ’em wrong just so they wouldn’t seem to be nerds without real lives . . . maybe. I don’t know. I just know the Orion Slave Girl was definately overdressed.
