How A Skeptic Gave Up Smoking With Hypnosis

Good news . . . How a Skeptic Stopped Smoking:

After smoking for eighteen years, my body started to tell me I was doing something wrong. It was time for me to do something right, and quitting a 40 per day cigarette addiction was the first thing on the agenda. My wife came home with a CD in her hand telling me that this was the thing which would set me free of my addiction. I was more than the average skeptic where hypnotism was concerned. However, I humored her. I waited until she left the house to try it. I was expecting someone to try to put me in a trance and get me to float around the room. However, it was a more subtle and normal than anything I had been expecting. A good few minutes of relaxing and talking, all rational and reasonable, and I felt like I was asleep, yet I was able to open my eyes at any time. At the end of the CD, I sat up and stretched, feeling quite good about myself. I reached for the cigarrettes, and yes, I did smoke one. The hypnotherapist on the CD had said how the CD is not an instant cure. He also said how I should listen to it a few times to prepare my mind (and body) to be without nicotine. It also said that I should keep listening to the program whenever I felt a little weak, stressed out or needed a bit of help. Within one week of listening to the Hypnosis Program I decided to never smoke again. I can not explain how glad I am that I listened to that CD. I have now not smoked for two years, and the best part is that I have enjoyed not smoking. I love being a non-smoker, I don’t feel like I am missing anything, in fact I know I have gained something. I have gained back my health, happiness, zest for life, energy and not to mention a pocket full of money. I am a total convert to hypnosis, and will never laugh at the idea of having my mind opened up to new ideas again. If it wasn’t for that hypnosis program I would still be smoking forty cigarettes a day and hating myself more and more each day. If you smoke, or know someone who does, tell them what you think. Don’t be polite and nice by keeping quiet to avoid making them think about what they are doing. Make them uncomfortable. Take it from me there is no reason to smoke other than the reason many find hard to say: “I can’t stop myself.”
