Hypnosis Works for Pain Control

Seth-Deborah Roth discusses a study that demonstrates Hypnosis Works for Pain Control. She included the attached table in her piece that clearly shows that the reduction in rating by patients when using hypnosis is far superior to the other compared methods of accupuncture, morphine, and pacebo. Actually, it is quite startling a difference to those unfamiliar with hypnotic pain control methods.

Roth also points out that companies lose US$80 billion dollars each year due to workers with chronic pain. The National Institute of Health also reccommends hypnosis for the treatment of pain. This is one area where hypnosis and focused trance techniques are the clear winner when it comes to helping people.

As one of her state goals, Roth wants to help patients (she is Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) stop taking pills like M&M candies and to help them get on with their lives. Pain medication kills, or at least damages the system. Those of you who are familiar with the Garbage Can guided imagery I use with my clients and also have available on my site for free download, know that the method was created specifically to help kids in hospice and it helped them deal with their fears and anxieties and cut down their pain meds dramatically.

Trancework when used with pain is not a miracle cure but it certainly borders on miraculous.

All the best,
Brian
