The Taipei Hypnosis Workshop Meeting . . .Instant and Rapid Hypnosis Induction Methods session went pretty well. We ended up with a lot fewer folks than expected as a few folks cancelled at the last minutes and others didn’t show.

However, once we got underway, it was a great session.

I covered the various mental attitudes potential subjects may have and then went over the structure of instant and rapid inductions.

The format was pretty straightforward, I would pick a participant and demo a technique and then everyone would practice with others. We rotated partners and everyone learned and ran through each process. Practice, practice, practice.

To end the session, I had everyone do an exercise I like which is to take thirty seconds and create an instant induction process right then and there. That’s always fun. I demoed the activity by picking up a tin of mints and using it as a hypnobox . . . as I open the box, so opens your mind, and as the box opens all the way your eyes become heavy and you just sleeeeeep . . . fun.

When we do the next Advanced Instant Inductions session, we’ll be doing a LOT of improvised induction process work so this activity is both a practical preview as well as a lot of fun in and of itself.

I will be working up an induction game for the next session as well.
