Now, this is a real image. It did happen. However, some folks are making much more of it than it deserves. The context is informal and playful. He was just kidding around. Don’t get me wrong, I am as non-pro-Bush as a human can get and I sincerely and deeply hope and pray that he is not re-elected.

However, for anti-Bush folks to get upset about this video is just plain stupid. If Kerry did the same thing, they would note the context . . . of course, then the pro-Bush folks would be all over how inappropriate that would seem.

It was a joke. It was playful. It was not intended to hurt anyone. Sure, it is a little on the hypocritical side given his extreme anti-profanity and pro-morals stance . . . but that does not exclude the decidedly playful context of this clip.

I would be the first to say, “Don’t vote for the guy” but those sentiments have nothing to do with this particular clip.
