A thoughtful article at New York Blade Online on Spike Lee’s new “lsebian” film. Real lesbians, particularly wealthy ones like those in the film, are not going to have sex with some guy to get pregnant. If lesbians want a baby, they don’t have to have sex with some guy. They can go with artificial insemination . . . why ever would they take chances of not conceiving? They’d make sure they took advantage of technology. Or, they’ll adopt. The idea of some guy making bucks making the beast with many backs with a bunch of lesbians is silly. Besides, he has other carreer oportunities open to him. The guys who lost their shirts at Enron are still bright enough to move on to something else. Lesbians sell movies, but reality ain’t the same as Spike’s fantasy. Granted, there may actually be someone out there who has done something like this with a friend who couldn’t afford artificial routes or who was ineligible to adopt, but it’s still a far cry from what most lesbians would be willing to do. Real lesbians don’t have sex with guys . . . despite Howard Stern’s fantasies about lesbians, the male is just plain out of that loop. Bisexual babes . . . now, that’s a completely different fantasy.
