There is now a firmware update for the Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1 digital 3D camera . . . you can get it at http://www.fujifilm.com/support/3d/software/firmware/finepix_real3dw1/fupd.html for those who have the camera. It only has one new modification and that's to add 16:9 image taking options for "small" image size . . . this – not so coincidentally – is at the same resolution as HD television so it seems pretty sure that this option's been placed for those who will want to show images directly on the new HD 3D television sets coming out this year. Oddly enough, there's no 16:9 option for the higher quality settings which is what I would prefer.
