Ben Silverman at Yahoo writes about the success of certain video games despite being panned by critics . . . http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/no-hype-no-problem-sleeper-hit-just-dance-moves-millions/1395933 . . . there is a shift in game culture as folks who do not read the game columns have begun buying games for very different reasons than video game critics might realize. The case in point is Just Dance which has sold millions despite an underwhelming critical review history. Folks are buying the game and loving it . . . for very different reasons than anyone could have predicted within the traditional game culture.
