Oh . . . please let this NOT be merely a rumor and let it be reality . . . Nintendo to go Stereoscopic 3D with Next Console . . . this would be so much more than koolness . . . to play console games the way the gods intended that they be played . . . yes, that would be very very nice indeedie doooo.

Given Nintendo’s taking a bath on the 3D forrays in the past (Virtual Boy), they might be skittish about another go but given the recent burst in 3D film activity, a console gambit into stereoscopic joyfulness might be a good idea, something to give an edge over Sony and Microsoft.

Let us all meditate and think positive, happy, three-dee-ish thoughts and perhaps the universe will allow itself to be remanipulated and ordered so as to allow this happy thought to become matter . . . hmmm, what the bleep do you think I’ve been watching?
