Here's an interesting bit in the New York Times on how Chinese Teachers in the US are experiencing American culture . . . the culture shock and the eyes open thing . . . much the same way those of us who are Western expats living in Asia feel. There's good, there's bad, there's the same, and there's different.
Fascinating read so go on over to http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/10/education/10teacher.html and read the beastie.
All the best,
Brian
