Yes, I have finally joined the twenty-first century, well part of it at least.
Most of my audio CDs are now available as instant downloads from my store on the Community at http://trancesociety.net/community . . . I've been slow to do MP3 downloads but since the Community platform makes it convenient to manage, here we go!
On average, the session recordings are US$10 less than the audio CDs . . . not to mention, no shipping charge which often gets pretty steep for overseas shipping so most folks end up saving US$20-US$50 depending. Not too shabby.
I haven't edited my main store page yet but will be doing so soon.
With the new system, I am likely to be creating more recordings just for the download system and we will definitely be providing discounts for Gold Members at the Community on some special products in the pipeline.
Since I was recently asked . . . yes, the store system is very easy to set up at the Community – any membership level can purchase products via Paypal – stores can be created by Platinum level members who also can set up Events and Groups and Forums and more. No, the Community does NOT take a cut from product sales (typically instant downloads of ebooks or audio files), all such monies go to the vendor's pocket.
