Long ago, I had a friend who died in a way very very similar to this . . .
Okay, maybe not exactly that way but some similarities are there . . . my friend crawled through his portable hole into the treasure vaults of a local demon overload and another friend stole the hole and left him to die . . . ah, the days of rolling dice and companionship and a good weekend spent wiling away the coke and pizza with one's buddies at table with Dungeons and Dragons manuals strewn all around the place.
