Hypnotherapy on the Cheap

This question comes via email and since there are plenty of folks for whom this sort of thing applies, I am placing the edited question here with an edited reply:

"Your services seem highly professional, but the truth is unaffordable for me over the long term. Are there other options for me. Hypnotherapy on a budget is what I need. Is there any self hypnotherapy programs out there, and are they likely to improve my situation? Your garbage can MP3 does seem like a good start. Thanks for your help."

I understand.  Really, I do.

You might consider doing work with the Garbage Can mp3 on my webpages at http://www.briandavidphillips.com in the MP3 section as it's a free download and perhaps purchase a couple CDs at http://www.briandavidphillips.net/store to work with such as the Higher Self Full Session for emotional release as well as deep trance training and the Parts Process piece which is helpful in terms of changework (that CD is nonspecific so that you can make the sorts of suggestions to yourself relevant to your presenting issues while listening to the CD).  I would suggest that you begin work with the Parts Process piece after having listened to the deep trance training piece (either Higher Self as above or the Ultratrance CD if you prefer not to have a higher self visualization – they are similar inductions otherwise).

Obviously, in addition to working with audio CDs, I strongly encourage anyone seeking real change to work with a competent professional hypnotist.  However, if money is tight then money is tight (for some issues, the cost of hypnotherapy, while it may seem steep at the get-go is cheaper than the price paid with the problem in the long run).  Many people have wonderful results with audio CDs, if you don't get as far as you want with just an audio CD (which can't be customized to fit your specific needs or trance pattern), then starting with the CDs while you save up for in-person sessions may be the way to go.  Some folks shop around in their area for other hypnotists (I have links to some excellent folks in the Taiwan area on my webpage).  Some hypnotists even offer payment plans (I do not) while others do pro bono work for some clients in particular extreme need (I am involved with one such program, albeit it is very specific).

I hope this has been helpful to you.

All the best,
Brian
