Such and odd expression: "Sick as a Dog." Whether it actually makes sense or not, I certainly felt that way last night. I got hit hard with bone-shaking chills and fever last night which continued well into the wee hours of the morning. The fever finally broke and the chills stopped so now I just feel the regular nausea and upset of a rather flu or cold or somesuch nastiness. I will say this though . . . the folks who are frightened of marriage need to have an evening like the one I just had. I am so very very thankful that I have Lorraine, not just for the good times, which are very good indeed, but for nights like last night.
All the best,
Brian
