For Christmas, we got Kaye the full band set of Guitar Hero World Tour for X-Box and it’s amazing to watch her rock out to classic and contemporary rock songs with no problem.  She actually picked up the sticks to play the drum kit and ended up playing better her first time ever holding sticks than I ever could after years of being a drummer in junior high school and high school.  She’s got a gift for music and is a product of the modern age of video and computer games so for her the synthesis is perfect.

She wanted this version of Guitar Hero because she wants to play with her friends and because it has a music studio where she can put in her own songs and then eventually upload them to share with others.  For her actual music, see her webpage at http://www.kayephillips.com . . . she’s currently working on her second CD of original songs.
