Forensic hypnosis is touchy in many jurisdictions and not only does one have to have appropriate training, there are a whole slew of t’s to dot and i’s to cross to make sure the work is done clean and does not contaminate testimony.  Even when things are done on the up and up, the defence can move for dismissal.  Jim Barton has been trying to get just such a dismissal . . .
