Why Hypnosis really needs to be required training for some medical professionals

Dr. Stefan Friedrichsdorf knows about pain . . . he knows more about it than most and his specialty is working with kids who are in pain . . . now, read what he says carefully . . .

"Most children who die in this country still die in pain,"
Friedrichsdorf says. "While adults at the end of life expect
state-of-the-art pain and symptom management, that’s not yet the case
in pediatrics. Children metabolize drugs differently than adults, and
most children don’t have access to specialists trained to provide the
appropriate care."

Now, if you’re a parent or a medical professional who works with kids in pain . . . read it again.

You read that right.  Most children who die in the US (and elsewhere, for that matter) die in pain.  See the original article at http://www.startribune.com/local/25923199.html.  As progress in safe drug development is slow, is it any wonder why more and more care givers are learning how to help guide children – and others – into pain free states.  Hypnosis is wonderful for lowering stress states and has been shown to help many control their pain levels, their experience of pain . . . and in many many cases eliminating the sensation altogether.

All the best,
Brian
