Shane’s father is one of Australia’s greatest living stage hypnotists and Shane has been learning from him his entire life.  Martin St. James has performed all over the world and the last time he was in Taiwan (his wife is from Taiwan), I was in his show . . . yes, I was Superman and did indeed rush out into the audience to scoop some poor damsel in distress into my arms and carry her to the stage to protect her from all the villains out there (after that, each time I went back into the audience women ran from me in a panic lest they too be scooped up by this bearish waiguoren . . . then again, that doesn’t seem to be particularly different from my regular life – just with less screaming).
