Complicated Grief

Lisa Cefalu (web) has posted a summary of a Los Angeles Times article on Complicated Grief to her blog that is well worth the review by hypnotists and other therapists.  This form of persistent grief resides in areas of the brain associated with reward and is more visceral than other forms of grief.  Understanding the neurobiology of the condition may very well help in the development of more effective therapeutic approaches to helping folks.

All the best,
Brian
