HYPNOTIC ALTERNATIVES
March 31 to April 1, 2007

March 31 to April 1, 2007, HYPNOTIC ALTERNATIVES (A Seminar in Bread and Butter Processes for the Hypnotherapist) – Course Hours: twelve hours (two days), Prerequisite: previous experience required – The core Bread and Butter issues to be discussed and learned are some of the most common and backbone issues that working hypnotists deal with: Stop Smoking, Weight Loss, Stress Relief, Phobia Release, Performance Enhancement (such as Golf and more), Exam Anxiety, and Study Skills Improvement. Within a context of advanced discussion with working strategy input and interactive dialog throughout, the course is divided into four main parts: 1. Experiential Hypnosis Basics: What is “experiential” hypnosis and how to reliably guide trance partners into the state as well as specific processes that engender success in sessions; 2. Core Processes: Hypnotic processes that become extremely powerful when applied within an Experiential Hypnosis context. These include review of processes some participants may have previously learned about but which are presented with variations specifically adapted to the experiential trance session as well as entirely new processes; 3. Advanced Process Systems: Developing systems, based upon universal approaches that are highly adaptive to multiple situations; 4. Strategies for Specific Contexts: The bulk of the course will be discussion, explanation, and demonstration of strategies and techniques – both generalized applications and particular methods for the specific issues: . Stop Smoking, Weight Loss, Stress Relief, Phobia Release, Performance Enhancement (such as Golf and more), Exam Anxiety, and Study Skills Improvement; and 5. Developing Original Strategies and Techniques: Based upon solid theoretical constructs and practical experience, participants will begin developing their own original processes and techniques for approaching the core issues as well as others.

S.E.T. HYPNOTIST CERTIFICATION COURSE: ACCELERATED TRACK
June 23-24, 2007

June 23-24, 2007, S.E.T. HYPNOTIST CERTIFICATION COURSE An Accelerated Program for Certification as Hypnotist for the Society of Experiential Trance) – Course Hours: fourteen hours (two days), Prerequisite: None, novice and experienced hypnotists welcome – This is the cross-certification intensive training program originally developed for experienced hypnotists who have some background or previous hypnosis experience who wish to cross-certify with the Society of Experiential Trance but require an intensive review of the basic skillsets prior to undergoing the competence examination. The course has been re-cast as an accelerated instruction program that will act as solid review for previously experienced hypnotists who might have foundation experience but lack background in some experiential trance processes taught by the Society as well as an accelerated learning program for bright and enthusiastic beginners who are ready to jump in full throttle. This is not a lecture course. There is no theory taught. It is a full two solid days of demonstration, explanation, and practice, practice, practice. All of the skillsets required in the competency examination for membership with the Society are covered in this accelerated course. Those who complete this course and pass the course competency evaluation are eligible for basic membership in and certification as Hypnotist with the Society of Experiential Trance. Please note, participation in the course does not imply automatic membership in the Society, participants must demonstrate competence in the material. As this course is an accelerated program in the form of an intensive review of skillsets, students are responsible for keeping up and for their progress. Most experienced hypnotists and gifted beginners should be able to do so, however, no guarantees are made in this regard due to the nature of the course.
