Last week, Kaye missed a few days of school with this wretched flu thingie and Lorraine picked it up too.  Today, Kaye went back to school only to find her class of thirty-some students reduced with ten kids out with the same thing.  That’s a lot of kids gone missing due to this beastie.  Lorraine’s been extremely careful about not infecting me as well, although I’ve had my own woes of late (been using a cane for a few days as I’ve screwed up my foot somehow).
