On Nov. 18, I am doing a special show with my friend Fonteneau who is coming to Taiwan for the week (he’s coming to participate in the Speed Hypnosis class I am teaching next weekend and since he also visited for the Stage Hypnosis class I taught, we wanted to set up a special performance since the students in the Speed Hypnosis course won’t be around for the regular show the following week – I have students attending from Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, the US, and Chekoslavakia, as well as Taiwan so it’s not likely many of them can stay the extra week).
The show is at 8:00pm at THE LIVING ROOM in Taipei and we will be doing a tag-in-tag-out hypnotic routine. Fonteneau’s been doing hypnosis for about twenty years and is very well known in a number US hypnotic entertainment circuits.
Unlike most of my other gigs which are in 18+ venues, this show’s venue is a bit more flexible so well-behaved children over twelve-years may be in attendance. The show will be more appropriate to general fun without any blatant racy humor. Folks can choose between the show and dinner (come early and it’s a good idea to make reservations) or the show and two drinks. The full info is on the webpage. Since Fonteneau will only be here one week, we really appreciate the help getting the word out as we want the audience to be a good one . . . it’s also folks’ only chance to see him here.

America’s mesmerizing master, Fonteneau, and Taiwan’s resident performing hypnotist, Brian David Phillips, together to perform an evening of comedy hypnosis with audience participation . . . the show wil be held at The Living Room in Taipei on Saturday, 18 Nov. 2006, 8:00-9:30pm. The show is in English with Chinese interpretation.

This is the only performance of the Hypnotic Faceoff in Taiwan, a full-featured entertainment comedy hypnosis show so get there early and be sure to tell your friends. This special performance program is appropriate for ages twelve and above.
For this bilingual performance (English with Chinese interpretation) of the Hypnotic Faceoff Comedy Hypnosis Show, interpretation and stage management is being provided by Lorraine Phillips (web). There will also be audience participation and a special section of open challenges for volunteer members of my Speed Hypnosis class to come up and participate (the seminar is Nov. 18-19, see my webpages for more information). Alumni of my Stage Hypnosis course (for which Fonteneau was a special guest lecturer last Spring) will also have an open invite. Other hypnotists from the community may also participate, time willing. The bulk of the performance will be the actual comedy hypnosis Hypnotic Faceoff of Fonteneau and Brian David Phillips, a fast-paced, energetic, full-on laugh riot comedy hypnosis performance.
