Oooh, much fun . . .
. . . last night’s show was a blast!

Last night’s performance of the Comedy HYPNOSIS Show was a blast! The crowd was really rollin’ and the volunteers were good. It was a slow start as the DJ was late getting back to the club but once he showed things went smoothly. Slow start also as we only had one volunteer at first but he was eventually joined on stage by others. Popped ’em all fairly straightfoward and the show took off from there. One volunteer started a little lowkey but eventually started getting into it, the others were high responders from the start. Used a number of bits that I have only used in the all English show before so this was the first time they were used at The Farmhouse. We had a wonderful time. Towards the end of the show, the band to follow us came in so they had a lot of folks with them who saw the tail end. The singer of the band started her set by talking about hypnosis as she was a psychology student at university and had always thought it was bullshit until she saw a demonstration in class. She singled out some of our high responders as being very creative. The creativity in a hypnosis show comes from the volunteers. While some stage hypnotists give the impression it is their work, the good ones are guides who are able to help the volunteers unlock their own energies and creativity.

In any case, it was a strong performance and we had a wonderful time.

Next month, it looks like we’re going to be very very busy with the hypnosis show . . . a new show in a new venue, a show with a Very Special Guest Hypnotist from America (the first multi-hypnotist challenge show in Taiwan), and our regular show at The Farmhouse. More details as they become finalized.

All the best,
Brian
