Kevin Federline NEEDS Hypnosis to be a Better Performer

Since we recently noted that Kevin Federline TRIES Hypnosis to Quit Smoking, some folks may be interested in his debut . . .

Let’s see, backupdancers take stage first to try to set energy levels, then another rapper hits to imply that he’s support so the lead must be pretty gosh darned good . . . then K-Fed does his bit, posing and pretending to be something he isn’t . . . okay, on stage persona and all that but it doesn’t fit. He really needs to rethink the white rapper gambit, his stage presence and image, and perhaps take some actual singing lessons. Some folks go with rap because they think it must be easy as it’s just talking so you don’t have to be a good singer. The best rappers CAN carry a tune and they do have musical sensitivities as well as a natural rhythm that allows their poetry to flow (yes, they are poets, I don’t like a lot of rap but the really good ones are artists – although most are just run of the mill poseurs and idjit losers looking for a hook). If a white guy, Asian guy, anyone does rap they need to be BETTER than the competition to gain credibility. K-Fed’s performance doesn’t even come close to being baseline average let alone hip hoppin’ good.

Of course, while he’s in for hypnosis sessions to TRY to quit smoking . . . he might want to consider doing some work on the other issues. If he really wants to be a performer then he needs to work on performance issues . . . and image . . . being a mean ol’ dirty white rapper may put him in the opposite music spectrum of his wife so he’s not in her shadow musically but if that’s his desire he shouldn’t need her to push his music in venues that she dominated. He’s not the rough and tumble hoodlum he tried to project so his performance fell flat . . . well it also fell flat because musically it sucked. There is a reason he had to start his own record company to release the album.
