Kansas, Kansas, Kansas.  The battle against evolution and for intelligent design takes place in the land of blowing up family planning clinics and Dorothy’s black and white world.  I’m from Kansas so I know where some of this comes from but . . . this . . . certainly does not reflect my values.  While I do agree that evolution is indeed a theory, I also see that most intelligent design advocates are pushing an agenda of religion rather than alternative science perspective.  I really hope they get those conservatives out of there but I would really not be surprised if the moderates lost . . . by a lot.  Can I go stand in a corner and kind of hang my head in embarrassment at my homeland now?
