Kaye’s Day Out . . .
. . . NCCU Anniversary Events

Today, we had quite the day of it . . . National Chengchi University had its anniversary celebration, a big one – I am an Associate Professor at the university and Kaye, my daughter, is graduating from the affiliated experimental elementary school . . . . This is a special NCCU Anniversary for Kaye as it’s her last year participating in the Elementary School activities. She’s graduating and will be moving on to Junior High next year. First, Kaye performs accordion in the band concert. Second, her classmates perform a gymastics dance. Third, Kaye runs in the relay – she is one of the fastest kids in the class but her team still placed fourth as a number of her classmates are sloooooooow. Kaye takes the handoff of the baton in the “big race.” She is one of the fastest kids in her grade, the fastest girl in a straightaway run.
