The “Lost Chatper” of “The Game”

Neil Strauss has posted the so-called “lost chapter” of his book “The Game” on his webpages here. Obviously, it isn’t really lost so much that Strauss chose to cut the original profile of David Shade from his finished book as well as the references to Mark Cunningham. The characterization of David’s book is a bit off as well. The book is a bit more than what Strauss characterizes it to be. Also, while Mark’s “Scoring with Married Women” book is a bit over the top, I have reccommended it to a number of married men as a manual on how to keep your wife satisfied. Mark’s seduction portfolio is a bit different and has evolved over time. While the whole picking up married women thing is a big turn off for me, look beneath the surface and you will find many more gems than the likes of Mystery will present. The throw away lines in the “lost” chapter give the impression that Cunningham’s advice is purely predatory and “evil” (as it is characterized in that chapter) but anyone who looks into it will find much more congruence and far less predatory evil tripe than found in the techniques espoused or the lifestyles led by Mystery and company. Of course, there are holes in any approach that ignores relationship.
