Shut Up and Kiss Me (Pony Up) music video project by Genie Chang, Carole Chen, and Sarina Tseng.

Students in the Literature and Film course I teach at the university were asked to create their own music videos from a song they selected. Multiple groups would choose the same songs so they could experiment with how images and music can be combined to create story. The students were asked to have multiple locations and to explore at least three phases of mythic structure in their pieces (utilizing Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey Model).
