Autistic Teen’s Hoop Dreams Come True . . . the coach had put the kid on the roster so he could have a team jersey and sit on the bench with the players and when the team was up by double digits he decided to be nice to the boy and make his dream come true of getting court time, figuring that within the four minutes of game time he couldn’t do too much damage . . . the first shot the kid made was an air ball, way off . . . but within four minutes he made seven shots in a row, six of which were three-pointers . . . no one expected that kind of performance. First time in a real game and he’s outperforming anyone’s wildest dreams.
