Bummer, bummer, and bummer . . . Serenity won’t show in theatres in Taiwan . . . they’re evidently going straight to DVD instead. A lot of countries are pulling out of the theatrical releases. This is most insanely suckful. I saw Doom last week and while I enjoyed it (I like game movies and kill the monsters flicks), I am certain Serenity is a much stronger entertainment piece. The reviews are much stronger than most of the tripe that is getting major release, just no big stars to carry the box office. It doesn’t need stars, it’s got Reavers. Sheesh. All accounts are that it is a kick ass film too. This is most suckful news . . . I was really looking forward to this one. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Thanks to Karl of Chewin in the Chung, bearer of bad news but at least I can stop holding my breath, the ol’ face was starting to turn blue.
