ETA Presentations . . .
. . . of guided imagery and roleplaying

For those of you who are in Taiwan, I will be presenting two papers with workshops at the 14th International Symposium and Book Fair on English Teaching sponsored by the English Teacher’s Association of the Republic of China held in the Chien Tan Overseas Youth Activity Center in Taipei. Both of my presentations are on the first day of the conference on 11 November 2005.

The first presentation is of more interest to folks who read my hypnosis posts . . . "Creating Guided Imagery Activities for the Language Classroom" . . . in room 5213, 9:40-10:40am. I am giving the second presentation with a co-author, Michael Cheng. It is "Writing Interactive Drama Role Plays for the Language Classroom" which should be quite fun as well. The roleplay piece will also be in room 5213, 10:50-11:50am.

The conference webpages are available on the association’s site at http://www.eta.org.tw for those with an interest.

All the best,
Brian
