Ten Most Harmful Books of the 19th and 20th Centuries . . .
. . . uh, not really agreeing with the whole premise there

Notice something wrong with this? Ten Most Harmful Books of the 19th and 20th Centuries:

HUMAN EVENTS asked a panel of 15 conservative scholars and public policy leaders to help us compile a list of the Ten Most Harmful Books of the 19th and 20th Centuries. Each panelist nominated a number of titles and then voted on a ballot including all books nominated. A title received a score of 10 points for being listed No. 1 by one of our panelists, 9 points for being listed No. 2, etc.

Harmful and evil and the like are relative. Take a look at the list, they are all influential books, yes, but to say they’ve caused more harm then say The Bible or the Koran or a couple other religious texts which have directly or indirectly led to more deaths, murders, tortures, and acts of violence by man against man than any other books in history is pushing it.

While most of the top ten aren’t my cup of tea, there are a number in the honorable mention section which are very humane and good concepts that have been stifled by facist and conservatives alike . . . oh, but the whole thing is rigged in favor of the conservative agenda . . . so, not really what one could call an objective test for truth.
