Science Points to a ‘Sixth Sense’ . . . or, intuition

The opening of this article is pretty broad but the actual findings don’t necessarily support the conclusions . . . Science Points to a ‘Sixth Sense’. The implication tha the sixth sense is intuition is not an old idea . . . intuition is basically unconscious thought. This is actually well in keeping with ancient Egyptian philosophy. If you’ve ever seen the Eye of Horus, you may not be aware of it’s implications into the nature of the mind. It’s actually not just an eye, it’s a symbol that has six parts, each part represents one of the senses of the human mind . . . the god Horus is associated with regeneration, health, and prosperity. The symbol of the Eye of Horus is often associated with esoterica and the occult. It is also called the udjat eye or utchat eye, which means “sound eye.” The eye is represented as a figure with six parts. These six parts correspond to the six senses – Touch, Taste, Hearing, Sight, Smell, and Thought. These are the 6 parts of the *eye*. The eye is the receptor of *input*. It has these six doors, to receive data. Notice Thought is one of the basic senses, intuition, or the sixth sense.
