Some seem to be implying that Turley stole pro-polygamy ideas WSJ Helps End Polygamy Controversy of ‘Turley’s Arguments’ when he is putting forth ideas they have espoused, this does not mean he took them from this group. A number of folks have been writing the same arguments for years, Turley is putting them together within a framework of current cases and issues. He is not claiming originality. In fact, I would suggest that had he specifically quoted the pro-polygamy folks, his essay would have been much weaker and less persuasive as their stuff tends to be more than a whole lot off-center. Turley did them a service by presenting to the mainstream issues that they too find important.
