Some evil toadey has hacked my Domain of The American Werewolf sites and so they are down for a bit as I get things all spiffed up and reformatted . . . please be patient . . . certainly was a shocker when I found I was getting write file errors as the forty gigabyte hard drive was full and the evil hackers not only took all my space they removed my write permissions to the drive. Of course, my OS (Windows) is partly to blame but it’s not like the holes in the system forced these evil fucks to screw with my stuff. I was lucky in that I did have backups of what I need from the machine, otherwise I would have ended up losing a lot of stuff. Yes, I am an idiot for not having more protection but as the support guy installed the Chinese system against my protests that I can’t read any of the commands or menus, I’m a little out of the loop on that machine (the guy said he had to put the Chinese on as he would be unable to configure the webserver without it (guess what, the fucking server he put on is in English anyway). In any case, there’s a new guy doing the setups and hopefully we’ll be back in business soon.
