Leofoo Village

We took a trip to Leofoo Village this past Sunday. You can see the full gallery here. It’s a theme park slash animal safari type reserve.

The kids . . . and adults . . . had a wonderful time. Here are some image highlights.

Leofoo has an incredibly beautiful and very photogenic white tiger in residence. The local Peta has been protesting the display of such creatures but you can certainly see why is is such a draw and why people would want to see it. I took a lot of photos and most came out very well. I like this shot as the tiger is standing so close to me and was looking me right in the eye.

Lorraine and Kaye went into the goat area to pet and feed the goats. Here Lorraine has discovered that goats can be rather aggressive about getting food.

Kaye and Lorraine took a camel ride and were just plain thrilled at the experience. I am sure Kaye will be treasuring the memories from this trip for quite some time to come.

The kids also enjoyed the theme park part of the attraction. We had decided to start late to avoid the sun but discovered we really would have liked to have had more time there. If you’re in Taiwan, it’s a pretty good experience . . . well worth the price of admission and then some.
