The Ministry of Transportation in Taiwan has a campaign starting from today until July 15 for reporting road sign mistakes. You can win up to NT$3,000 in prizes if you call or write to them providing info on where exactly the mistakes are. English spelling and usage mistakes seem to be the most common ones. We both found this rather amusing as we’ve seen hundreds of odd signs here over the years . . . at last someone is actually doing something about them.
